![]() Would help soften the challenge of the "impossible" difficulty level that also unlocks, no? No, actually, because you can only access the new gear by loading your game-completed save from your previous run, which forces you to play again on the same difficulty. The two most gameplay-relevant ones are the level 6 "military" suit-better than anything available the first time you play through the game-and 50,000 credits to spend at the store. OK, so after the credits roll, you get a big stack of unlocked gear, logs, and other goodies. If you don't want to know absolutely anything about the items that unlock after you beat the game, stop reading now, but the rest of this story doesn't address the game's plot or anything. But one thing that I noticed right after finishing the game really stuck in my craw. ![]() Limited access to this rude-lookin' suit.Dead Space impressed the heck out of me, so much that I gave it the highest possible score on our scale.
